LOS ANGELES, Feb. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Writers Group Film Corp. (OTCQB: WRIT), and Front Row Networks, a Los Angeles based concert production company, announced that Dick Wingate, a 35-year veteran of the entertainment industry, has joined the company as an Advisor to the Board of Directors.

With over three decades of pushing the boundaries in the music and digital entertainment industries, Mr. Wingate is now a principal at DEV Advisors, a consulting firm and affiliate of New York-based DEV (Digital Entertainment Ventures).
Dick was previously General Manager of East Coast Business Development for TAG Strategic, a digital entertainment consultancy. Prior to that Mr. Wingate served as President, Media Development & Chief Content Officer for Nellymoser, Inc., an early provider of rich media mobile services – overseeing content, licensing and business development strategies, and working closely with media companies such as Sony Music, Warner Music, MTV, AT&T, Virgin Mobile & ABC. Dick helped pioneer the digital music download business from its infancy as Senior Vice President, Content Development at Liquid Audio, Inc., and was responsible for music licensing, label relations, affiliate management & content marketing, playing an integral role in Liquid Audio’s 1999 IPO.
Mr. Wingate’s in-depth experience in the recording industry includes positions as SVP, Marketing, Arista Records (BMG); SVP, A&R, PolyGram Records; Director of Talent Acquisition, Epic Records and Director, Product Management, Columbia Records.
Dick has spoken at numerous industry events, including: Digital Hollywood, Digital Music Forum, SXSW, CTIA, MEFCON, Billboard Live, Jupiter Plug-In, CMJ, Midem, Bear Stearns, Credit Suisse, Business Week conferences, and has been featured in the Sunday NY Times Business section, the Los Angeles Times, as well as quoted in the Wall St. Journal, Time Magazine,USA Today, the New York Times Magazine and Billboard Magazine.
